Late Sushma Swaraj's daughter Bansuri fulfilled her mother's last promise

New Delhi: Former Foreign Minister and late BJP leader Sushma Swaraj's last wish was fulfilled by her daughter Bansuri on Friday. Bansuri, fulfilling his mother's promise, handed over a rupee coin to lawyer Harish Salve. Harish Salve had pleaded for an Indian citizen Kulbhushan Jadhav case lodged in Pakistan in an international court (ICJ) in exchange for a fee of just one rupee.

In fact, former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj telephoned the country's famous lawyer Harish Salve on August 6 (Tuesday) at around 8:50 pm and asked him to take the fees to contest the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Wednesday. Salve pleaded Jadhav's case in lieu of a fee of just one rupee. Now her daughter Bnasuri has fulfilled her mother's promise by paying 1 rupee to Salve.

The 67-year-old's Sushma Swaraj herself tweeted it. But she died the same night due to cardiac arrest. Salve gave this information in the media after her death. Swaraj was brought to the hospital at 10.15 pm and was taken directly to the emergency ward but could not be saved.
