External Affairs minister 'Sushma Swaraj' discharged from AIIMS hospital

NEW DELHI: The External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj discharged from AIIMS hospital on 19th December. Swaraj underwent kidney transplant on 10th of December. Doctors said Swaraj showed good recovery after the operation.

“Her postoperative recovery was closely monitored by a team of transplant surgeons, Physicians, Anaesthesist, critical care experts, physiotherapist, resident doctors and specialized transplant nurses,” statement given by AIIMS hospital.

Swaraj was suffering from diabetes since 20 years, she was admitted to the hospital on November 7th in ICU and then she was shifted.

Perhaps, being in hospital she keep on responding to the reporters.

In spite of that, she helped widow , who had lost her husband in Japan. Swaraj said to DCW(Delhi Commission for Women) “we will bear all the expenses and do this without delay.” Sushmita Swaraj was honored as “global thinker” by an Indian Magazine.
