On a Halloween celebration at Canada, two people and five others were injured in a stabbing rampage in the historic Old Quebec neighborhood of the city.  Police arrested a man on suspicion arrested a man in his mid-20s on Sunday. Quebec City police spokesman Etienne Doyon during a press briefing said, The suspect, "a man in his mid-20s," was armed with a sword and dressed in "medieval clothing,".

Police said an unidentified man in his mid-20s has been arrested in connection with the Halloween night attacks shortly before 1:00 am  and is taken to a hospital for evaluation. However, the motive of the attack is not known yet. The officer narrated the incident as "It's a man who was dressed medieval. It's a man who carried a sword with him. It's stab wounds -- that's all we can tell you at the moment".

The injuries are of different severity, added the police. The police has instructed the city residents to stay careful as the motive is not known and the investigation is on its way. Prior to his arrest, the police warned the  residents to remain indoors as they hunted for a man dressed in medieval clothing and armed with a bladed weapon who had left “multiple victims.”
