The world's leading vehicle manufacturer Suzuki Motorcycle India, has increased the price of its Gixxer 250 range in the Indian market. The price of BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 has now been fixed at Rs 165,441. Also, the price of Gixxer SF 250 is now fixed at Rs 176,140. The price of BS6 Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition has now been fixed at Rs 176,941 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The price of all three motorcycles has increased by Rs 2,041. Suzuki has recently increased the price of BS6 Access and BS6 Burgman Street Scooters apart from its BS6 Gixxer 155 range.

Talking about power and torque, then a lot of changes have been made in BS6 Gixxer 250. Also, it is designed as per BS6 standards. It has a 249 cc single overhead cam, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This engine generates 26 bhp of power at 9,300 rpm. In terms of torque, its torque now increases 0.4Nm from 22.2 Nm to 22.6 Nm at 7,300 rpm with BS6 avatar.

Talking about the look of the motorcycle, there has been no change of any kind. Also, the company has not made any changes to it and has provided full LED headlamps, fully digital instrument console, chrome-tipped dual-port muffler, split seats, dual-channel ABS and more. The BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 range competes with the Bajaj Dominar 250 which is going to be launched in the market soon.
