Bhopal: Today is the birth anniversary of Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the promoter of the Arya Samaj and the fiercest reformist monk. He was also a great patriot. Today, remembering him on his birth anniversary, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan pays tribute to him. He bowed to him through a tweet.


In his tweet, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan wrote, 'Agyani Hona Galat Nahi Hai, Agyani Bane Rahna Galat Hai- Swami Dayanand. Quotes on the birth anniversary of the great saint Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of the Arya Samaj, the unbroken Prakash Punj of the Hindu Renaissance. Come, let us all pay our tribute to him by contributing to the progress of society and nation.'


Swami Dayanand Saraswati was born in Tankara, Gujarat. Being born in the original Nakshatra, he was named Moolshankar. Apart from CM Shivraj, MP's Home Minister Narottam Mishra has also tweeted and remembered him. In his tweet, he wrote, "Give your best to the world and the best will come back to you. Humble tribute on the birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the great thinker of modern India, the founder of the Arya Samaj, the renaissance against social evils and superstitions". Many leaders besides him have tweeted and paid homage to Swami Dayanand Saraswati.
