In the lockdown, the era of mythological shows has returned to the TV world, whether it is Mahabharata, Ramayana or any mythological show. Legendary shows are being shown on all channels. One such actor, who worked in Uttar Ramayana and other mythological serials at that time, is Swapanil Joshi. He has worked both small and big scenes and he has a lot of name in the Marathi film industry. While Swapnil played the role of Kush in the Uttar Ramayana when he was 8-9 years old, he said, "I was very young then and there was no social media at that time, but now for those roles, I have getting love from my fan. I am very happy that when these serials come again, they are still receiving the same amount of love. Millions of people are watching, unfortunately the entire country is lockdown, but the sector environment, I believe that these religious shows have people working to keep positive."

Swapnil was 8-9 years old when he worked in religious shows. Sharing the shooting experience, he said-" I was very young but I used to remember the dialogues very quickly, I saw the Ramayana. My family was also a fan of Ramayana, but at that time nobody had even dreamed that I would play Kush in the Uttar Ramayana." He further said," I enjoyed doing war scenes because they shoot on chroma. It used to happen and when I used to watch it on TV, I used to enjoy it with the effects." While Swapnil said," Kush's character in Uttar Ramayana changed my life, it opened the door of industry for me, there is no film person in my house, I am the first one, there is a difference of ground and sky before and after Uttar Ramayana, I have learned a lot from shows like Ramayana and Shri Krishna."

He added, "Most of my scenes were with Sita Maiya or Deepika ji and in the last I worked with Ram ie Arun ji but he always treated us like children and he cared for us a lot. Viewers make a connect with religious shows, so whenever these shows are shown on TV, people will connect with me and I am very happy to be a part of them." During lockdown, Swapnil has opened his own YouTube channel called Pillu TV, "This is my family channel of sorts, on which I share videos of my children, stories of my childhood characters, and It is fun to shoot at home. "
