After Sushant's death, Swara Bhaskar said this on debate of nepotism

All are shocked by Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. Many news reports are coming about him. Since his departure, a fierce debate has started in Bollywood about nepotism and insider-outsider. Recently a video went viral in which actress Swara Bhaskar was asking filmmaker Karan Johar questions about nepotism. She tweeted that she should have a tough conversation but there is a decent way of doing it. These days, many people are saying their things and blaming people, but blaming Karan is unnecessary. I believe that you cannot blame Karan, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor for what happened in Sushant's career. This is not a fair decision.

She says, 'In the video one can see that Karan is accepting that he must have chosen people who were right in front of him and things should change.' Swara further said, 'I would like to give credit to him for joining this issue, but the way things have happened was very sad. I am disgusted that some people are using the debate sparked after the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput for Altar Motives. We should honor Sushant and celebrate his life. He was a tremendous artist.'

Swara told a website that she feels that the ongoing discussion after Sushant's death should focus on serious topics like mental health and depression. She further said, 'One despised the debate by saying that, people get depressed because they were not invited to any party or someone said stupid things about them in a chat show.  If this is your understanding, have you considered what depression is?'
