Today is Swara Bhaskar's birthday, seen in very few films in Bollywood. Today Swara is celebrating her 32nd birthday. Swara is famous for her statements and people often troll her because of this. Swara was born on 9 April 1988 in Delhi and her father's name is Chitrapu Uday Bhaskar, who is an officer in the Indian Navy. Her mother Ira Bhaskar is a professor at JNU. Very few people know that Swara did her early studies from Sardar Patel School in Delhi.

After this, she graduated in English Literature from Delhi University. Apart from this, she has a degree in Psychology from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Swara worked in the theatre before coming to acting. Swara came to Mumbai in 2008 to try her luck in films and she got a lot of public attention for her character Payal in her very first film 'Tanu Weds Manu'. People became crazy about her and people gave her fierce love. In this film, she played the role of Tanu, Kangana Ranaut's friend and after that in the film Raanjhanaa, Swara made great headlines with her excellent performance.

She was conferred with many awards for the best performance in this film. Swara has done many excellent films till now, among which Nil Bate Sannata, Anarkali of Arrah, Veere Di Wedding, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Chillar Party. She made a lot of headlines even after doing a masturbation scene in Veere Di Wedding and was fiercely trolled as well. Swara has so far received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress in the film Tanu Weds Manu, and the Zee Cine Award, Screen Awards and IIFA Awards for the same film.
