In a bid to streamline operations and cut costs, Swiss banking behemoths UBS and Credit Suisse have announced plans to shut down 85 branches across Switzerland by 2025. The closures, reported by Swiss media outlets, are slated to target branches located in close proximity to each other, with a pilot phase set to commence in April.
