On Friday, the Swiss Soccer Association has reported that the Swiss Cup winner will not be able to get traditional entry into the Europa League due to the hectic schedule of the Coronavirus epidemic. UEFA has set a deadline for the Champions League and Europa League till August 3. The Swiss Cup was halted in the quarter-final stage and it is not expected to start till this date.
In this regard, the Sangh said that it has asked UEFA several times to extend the deadline, but it was rejected. The winner of this competition gets a place in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
The Europa League will start from August 5 and the tournament is going on till August 21.
