Sydney: The decisive and final fourth Test of the four-Test series between India and Australia will be played at Brisbane. The third Test match between India and Australia played in Sydney ended on Monday without any result. The four-match series is on par with one-on-one and the Border Gavaskar Trophy between the two countries will now be decided by the final Test match in Brisbane from January 15.

India's visit to Brisbane due to the global pandemic coronavirus was not the first due to strict quarantine guidelines, but later on, keeping in view the increasing cases of corona in Sydney, it was decided that both the teams would go to Brisbane where the final Test match would be played. Both the teams have also been arranged to reach Brisbane. In Brisbane, a three-day lockdown was imposed after new cases of the new form of coronavirus were found. The lockdown will however end on Monday night as new cases of corona have not been found in the area.

According to reports, team India had also placed certain conditions in writing to go to Brisbane, after which the team has expressed satisfaction. At the same time, BCCI wrote in the context of relieving Cricket Australia from strict quarantine rules in Brisbane as it led the Indian team to stay in the hotel, which the players objected to.
