Comishly: A spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces, the US-backed organization that aided in the defeat of Daesh militants in Syria, said on Friday that Turkey's bombardment in the area under its control has halted all joint anti-terrorist operations.
Turkish forces have increased their airstrikes and shelling in northern Syria in recent weeks, and are preparing a ground offensive against Syrian Kurdish fighters whom they call terrorists but who make up the majority of the US-backed SDF.
The SDF has long warned that avoiding a new Turkish invasion would siphon resources from the security of the prison where Daesh fighters are held or from pursuing Daesh sleeper cells still hit-and-run in Syria. Runs are attacking.

According to Aram Henna of Reuters, all joint anti-terrorist operations with the coalition, as well as "all joint special operations that we were conducting regularly", have been halted.
