New Delhi: Team India's fast bowler T Natarajan has got the biggest deal on New Year from the Board of Control for Cricket in India. On the very first day of the year, he got the good news of getting a place in the Test team. Indian bowler Umesh Yadav has been ruled out of the four-match Test series due to injury. On Friday, the BCCI announced the inclusion of Natarajan in the Test team in place of Umesh.
T Natarajan won the hearts of all for his outstanding performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was selected to go on a tour of Australia as a net bowler. He was included in the T20 squad after Varun Chakraborty was injured, while Natarajan was included in the squad as an alternative to Navdeep Saini.
Natarajan made his international debut in the first ODI series against Australia, after which he made everyone his wish by showing a brilliant game in T20. Impressed by this bowler who made a brilliant debut in T20, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya gave him his man of the series title. Hardik said that Natarajan deserves more than this award.
