New Delhi: The Indian cricket team is all set to start its campaign in the T20 World Cup. With 'Mahamukabale' against Pakistan, Team India will try to gain an edge in their group. Meanwhile, the team's star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has expressed hope that he will be able to rebuild his batting partnership with former captain Kohli in the T20 World Cup match against Pakistan in Melbourne on Sunday. He says that Kohli's immense experience helps him to deal with pressure situations.

Pant has said that 'Kohli can really teach you how to deal with situations in a way that can help you in your cricketing journey in future. So batting with him is as good as ever.' He said, 'It is good to have someone with a lot of experience batting with you because he can tell you how to take the game and keep the pressure with one run in every ball.'

Let us inform you that with the help of unbeaten half-centuries from Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam, Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup last year. Batting first, Team India scored 151 runs for 7 wickets, but Pakistan achieved the target without losing any wicket. Apart from playing an innings of 39 runs, the 25-year-old had added 53 runs with the then captain Kohli. Pant said that 'I remember that I had hit two sixes in the same over of Hasan Ali. We were just trying to increase the run rate because we lost early wickets and we had a partnership – me and Virat.'

Regarding the experience of playing with arch-rivals Pakistan, Pant has said that 'Playing against Pakistan is always special because there is a special kind of hype around that match as always.' He said, 'There is a lot of emotion attached not only to us but to the fans and everyone. It is a different kind of feeling, when you step on the field there is a different atmosphere and you see people cheering.' Pant said that 'It was a different atmosphere and when we were singing the national anthem, my hair actually went up.'
