Thappad starrer Taapsee Pannu once again to work in the South entertainment industry with non-other than Vijay Sethupathi. The multilingual film featuring both the superstars is titled Annabelle Sethupathy and will be releasing on September 17.
The film is scheduled for direct OTT release on Disney Hotstar. Written and directed by Deepak Sundarrajan, Annabelle Sethupathi will see Taapsee Pannu sharing the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time. The Bollywood actress sharing the news about the film's official release date, captioned the poster. She wrote "Coz sometimes one life is not enough to see it all. #AnnabelleSethupathy Streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam from September 17." The movie is expected to be a horror-comedy where the lead actors will reportedly be seen in dual roles. The film Annabelle Sethupathy will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Producers of the film Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram have confirmed all the updates.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi recently wrapped up the shoot of Vignesh Shivan's Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, co-starring Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara. In the film, he also has Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram and will be seen playing a never-before role. Besides these, Vijay Sethupathi has Tughlaq Durbar, a political thriller directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan which will reportedly have a direct release on television, followed by an OTT release.
