The corona virus had arrived in India before the 21-day lockdown. Following this, protective measures to avoid the Corona epidemic, the government issued instructions to its major international airports to conduct thermal screening of all passengers arriving from China. Only after this, the government took sensible steps by keeping all the travelers coming from abroad. In his address on 19 March, Prime Minister Modi asked all citizens to observe 'Janata curfew' (people's curfew) from 7 am to 9 pm on 22 March. After that it was announced by the Chief Minister of Delhi that Delhi would be closed from 6 am on March 23, 2020 till March 31. On 24 March, the Prime Minister ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days.

For your information, let us tell you that when the citizens of the country were staying in their homes and praying to God to avoid the coronavirus, then a news came from the country's capital New Delhi that in early March, Tablighi Jamaat located in Nizamuddin, Delhi. On 13 March, a program of more than 3,000 people took place with citizens of Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries. Symptoms of Kovid-19 are being found in many people from all over the country, whether they are from Tamil Nadu or Kashmir. Today, about 10 of those who participated in this program have died due to Kovid-19, including the Kashmir chief of the Jamaat. One-fourth of the total coronavirus infections in the country belong to those who have had direct or indirect relationship with Tablighi Markaz in Nizamuddin, Delhi.

After this situation, the question arises that why did the Jamaat show foresight to cancel its program due to this epidemic? The Jamaat is a worldwide organization and is counted among the largest Islamic organizations worldwide.

Despite their vast network, how they failed to measure that by bringing such a large number of foreign nationals at such a time, it can become a threat to many people living in the country. Even after his program ended, a large number of people stayed with him at the same time, some of which started showing symptoms of Kovid-19.
