Mumbai: 6 employees of the Taj Mahal Palace and Towers Hotel in Mumbai, known as the financial capital of the country, have been found infected with the coronavirus. Most of those who were found to be infected had no symptoms of the disease. However, all have been admitted to the hospital, where their condition is said to be stable.

Earlier, the Indian Hotels Company (IHC), the operator of the Taj chain, said on Saturday that some hotel employees have been found infected with the corona virus. The company has appointed health workers and doctors in the hotel against the Coronavirus infection in its hotel in the city. He had about 500 of his employees investigated. The company had not given the number of infected people but said in a statement that most of them had no symptoms of this infection.

A doctor at the private hospital said that at least six employees of the Taj Mahal Palace in South Mumbai have been found to be Corona positive. His condition is fine and he will be discharged from the hospital soon. The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower located opposite the Gateway of India, which is currently not serving due to the lockdown. But some of the hotel staff are still staying there because the hotel is still sheltering medical warriors and health workers in this hour of crisis.
