There is a big news about BJP leader Tanzidar Singh Bagga. In fact, the Punjab-Haryana High Court has given him relief. According to the information received, the Punjab-Haryana High Court has said that no coercive should be taken against Tajinder Singh Bagga till the next hearing. The next hearing in the High Court will be held on May 10. After the arrest warrant was issued by the Mohali court, Tajinder Singh Bagga moved the Punjab-Haryana High Court.

Yes, and the matter was heard in the High Court last night, in which Bagga's arrest stayed till the next hearing. On the other hand, hours after the Punjab Police issued an arrest warrant by a Mohali court in connection with a case registered against him last month, Bagga had moved the High Court challenging it. Yes, justice Anup Chitkara heard Bagga's petition at his residence on urgent grounds just before midnight. Let me also tell you all that Bagga's lawyer Chetan Mittal said on the high court's order, "There is no punitive step till May 10. The high court will consider on May 10 a petition filed by Bagga seeking quashing of the FIR lodged against him last month.''

He also said that the court has stayed the arrest warrant. Meanwhile, advocate Chetan Mittal said that the hearing lasted for about 45 minutes. Earlier in the day, a Mohali court had issued an arrest warrant against Bagga in a case registered last month. Punjab Police had booked Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga on charges of making inflammatory statements, promoting enmity and making criminal threats. The case was registered on the complaint of Aam Aadmi Party leader Sunny Ahluwalia, a resident of Mohali.

You all must be aware that the FIR registered on April 1 mentions Bagga's march 30 remark, which he made during the BJP Yuva Morcha protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence. A case was registered against Bagga under sections 153-A, 505 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and with this, Bagga was arrested by the Punjab Police from his residence in Delhi on Friday. However, the policemen who were taking Bagga to Punjab were stopped in Haryana, after which the Delhi Police brought him back to Delhi.
