Agra: Hotel businessmen have started preparations for tourists after the government decided to reopen the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort to the general public from 21 September amid the crisis of the Corona epidemic. Famous monuments that attracted people worldwide were closed in March due to the lockdown imposed due to Corona.
Due to this the hotel industry was closed for five months and has suffered a lot. Rajnikanth, the owner of a hotel, told the media that, we were waiting for the government's order to reopen the Taj Mahal under 4 guidelines as they were reopening everything in a phased manner. Not only this, he said that the District Magistrate has recently given orders to reopen the Taj Mahal from September 21 and said that this tourism industry will also be brought back on track.
Rajnikanth further said that, businessmen are happy with this decision because we host people from all over the world who come to visit the Taj Mahal. At the same time, another hotel owner, Rashmi Singh has said that, our businesses were affected due to Corona. Because of this, we had to ask some of our hotel staff to leave, while the rest of the survivors worked on less salary.
