Kabul: Taliban militants are reportedly whipping Afghan citizens on the beach road for wearing 'western' clothes like jeans. The Taliban have been treating people cruelly since their capture in Afghanistan. Several young Afghans have posted on social media that they were beaten up by Taliban militants for wearing jeans accusing them of insulting Islam.

A social media post said the boys were hanging out with friends in Kabul. Meanwhile, Taliban militants captured them. The boys said two of their friends fled the spot during this time. But they were stopped at gunpoint and slammed on the road and flogged. An official of the Taliban terror group has informed local newspaper Etilatros that the organization is still deciding on a dress code for men.

But media reports suggest that the Taliban is not ready to allow 'Western' clothes, which are out of traditional 'Afghan attire'. Meanwhile, the Telegraph has reported that even after the double increase in prices, the sale of burqas in Afghanistan has increased drastically. He said it was because of the fear of the Taliban.
