Kabul: There has been a hue and cry in Afghanistan after it was captured by the Taliban. Recently, a gay man suffered cruelty. The young man was not only killed but also raped for being gay. The victim could not be identified. According to media reports, he was hiding in Kabul out of fear, but two Taliban asked him to leave as friends and assured him that they would send him out of the country.

However, when the youth met them, they assaulted him and raped him and later took the man's father's number and told them that their son was gay. Afghan rights activist Artemis Akbary has reportedly reported the incident with the victim. He currently lives in Turkey and is in touch with the man. Giving the most recent example of Taliban brutality in Afghans, he said the attack is just an example of what life will be like for gay people under the Taliban rule.

Akbary says, "They (Taliban) just want to tell the world that we have changed and we have no objection to women's rights and human rights. They are lying. The Taliban have not changed at all, because their ideology is the same. My friends are scared in Afghanistan. They don't know what will happen to them in the future, so they're just trying to hide. Along with this, he had told that women in Afghanistan are being sent abroad by making sex slaves after being locked in coffins.
