Shahid Kapoor has also won the hearts of his fans with his acting in the movie 'Kabir Singh'. This movie is a remake of the superhit movie of the South. South actor Vijay Deverakonda's movie 'Arjun Reddy' was remade by the director of this movie. Shahid Kapoor says that even more difficulty for a filmmaker gets the job done as he decided to remake his own hit movie by adapting it. Sandeep Reddy Wanga made  The remake of Arjun Reddy by Kabir Singh. At the same time , Gautam Tinnannuri (Gowtam Tinnanuri) has made Shahid's  movie Jersey.

What Shahid Kapoor said on the film remake: According to the report, Shahid has said – 'A film has to be adapted and re-discovered amidst preparations to make it. Many times remakes are also made like photo copies. So many times, make the characters feel fresh, according to that, the work of making it is also done. Culture, mood and dialogues have to be redeloped. Which takes time. The script is given a new lease of life, it's all different and different."

How was Shahid's experience?: Where shahid has further said about this – 'As an artist, when you watch an original movie, you also respect it as an actor, but when you work on the adaptation of that movie, you find your version. Kabir Singh and Jersey are the experiences I've gone through."

Shahid further said, "If I think it's the same movie and it's started happening again in the same way, I wouldn't do them again. Then I would have refused to do it only to say that it had already been made. It was very difficult for Sandeep how to deal with a different actor in the bean movie. Which will bring your creations and vibes. Kabir Singh was quite challenging in that sense. I wanted to let Sandeep handle, but he gave me full leeway.

He further said, "During the film Jersey with Gautam, it never felt like we were recreating the same movie from Daubara again. We felt exactly as they felt at the time of the original. For both these directors, both the movies have been very close to their hearts and the process of recreation has been difficult and different."
