Tamannaah was recently seen in the Seenu Ramasamy directorial Kanne kalaimaane and is expecting the release of her next, Devi 2 directed by AL Vijay and co-starring Prabhu Deva, Nandita Swetha and Kovai Sarala. The teaser of Devi 2 was released a couple of days back and fans loved it. The sequel to the horror flick got everyone excited and now the film finally has a release date. Another poster of Devi 2 has hit the internet and the film is slated to release on May 1, 2019.

The latest buzz is that Tamannaah has been approached to play the lead role in an untitled upcoming project, which will be the remake of 2017 Tollywood hit movie Anando Brahma, which had Taapsee Pannu playing the lead role and was directed by Mahi V Raghav, who had recently directed YS Rajasekhar Reddy biopic Yatra starring Mammootty.

According to our source, “Since Anando Brahma was a huge success, remakes are being thought of in several languages. Makers of the Tamil remake are in talks with Tamannaah for this remake as she has had some successful horror outings. The actress is yet to give her nod and an official confirmation will be given as soon as she signs the dotted lines.” Director Raghav was quoted as saying that he has been approached for the remake from all the southern languages and Bollywood as well. In fact, the director has expressed interest in helming the Hindi remake too.
