On January 14, the fictional micro-series 'Aanandham Aarambham,' featuring Abhirami Venkatachalam, a contestant on 'Bigg Boss Tamil,' and actor Santhosh Prathap, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
From their proposal until their first wedding anniversary, the eight-episode micro-series follows the wonderful storey of two coffee lovers, Ranjani and Ramcharan.
Each four-minute episode shows how coffee gets ingrained in their daily lives, allowing them to develop a more equal relationship. Filling bitter-gaps gets simpler for Ramcharan and Ranjani over coffee, and it eventually becomes a back-in-love strategy.
Santhosh Prathap, the filmmaker of hit films such as "Sarpatta Parambarai" and "Oh My Kadavule," said, "This proposal to create a series centred on coffee and a connection between two people is a fantastic way to engage viewers. I admire how easily we were able to communicate a tale about something so simple through a sympathetic plot."
The film opens with Ram proposing to Ranjani in a spectacular manner via Zoom as his foreign duty draws to a close. After that, Ram meets with Ranjani's parents to obtain their consent. Ram wins her parents' hearts with his amazing coffee, despite their initial reservations about him, as they, too, are coffee lovers.
Ram promises Ranjani on their wedding day that he will never have coffee without her, and that he will always make her first cup of coffee every morning. From there, the tale unfolds in an episodic fashion, with episodes occurring at various stages in their lives. The novel depicts the tiny quarrels that arise between the couple for no apparent cause, and how they are handled either by Ramcharan's caring attitude or by Ranjani's love for Ram.
Through their long-distance relationship, the couple learns challenges and differences that they were unaware of, which leads to further tensions that they must overcome together now that they are together in person.
