On the auspicious occasion of Pongal, the first-look poster of filmmaker Muthaiah's much-anticipated action movie 'Viruman,' starring Karthi, was released.

For a number of reasons, the picture has generated a lot of buzz. Aditi Shankar, the daughter of renowned filmmaker Shankar, makes her acting debut in this film, in which she portrays the female protagonist. Second, director Muthaiah's earlier film starring Karthi, 'Komban,' was a major smash, so fans are expecting great from 'Viruman,' as well. Karthi is being shown deep in thought with a spear on his lap in the first look poster for 'Viruman.' 

Recently, actor Karthi announced that 'Viruman' has been completed thanks to director Muthaiah and cinematographer Selvakumar's meticulous preparation and execution. The film was shot in and around Theni extensively. "Enjoy the ride, you are a natural," he had wished Aditi Shankar.

2D Entertainment produced the film, which features Yuvan Shankar Raja's music.
