Chennai: Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit vice-president BT Ars Kumar joined Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) on Thursday. Ars Kumar joined the party in the presence of DMK national president MK Stalin. A few days ago Ars Kumar had praised MK Stalin and said that I want to see Stalin as the CM of the state.

After joining the DMK, Ars Kumar said that he had been treated badly in the last few days for speaking the truth. Ars Kumar has said that his well-wishers instructed him not to stay in the BJP and asked him to leave the party, so he opted out of the BJP.
