Tamil Nadu is witnessing an increase day by day in cases of corona virus. There is no name of lack of cases. Now in the meantime, the number of infected people has reached two lakhs due to the arrival of 6785 new cases of covid-19 in the state on Friday (July 24). Recently the Health Department has talked about this. He informed that the death toll has increased to 3320 in the last 24 hours due to the death of 88 patients. Apart from this, the Health Department has also issued a bulletin.

This bulletin said that the number of infected people has increased to 1,99,749 with the arrival of new cases. Meanwhile, 6504 patients have been discharged from various hospitals, which is the highest number of patients to be cured in a day. Let us also tell you that 1,43,297 patients have been cured of infection in the state and currently 53,132 cases are being reported. Apart from this, in most deaths due to infection, the age of the dead has been stated to be more than 50 years. It is being told that a 96-year-old woman died in the city after a respiratory tract problem. Apart from this, 423 cases have been reported in Virudhnagar, 419 in Chengalpet, 378 in Thiruvallur, 326 in Madurai, 234 in Theni, 222 in Ranipet, 217 in Tiruchirapalli.

Recently, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that 'India is one of the countries with the lowest infection and mortality from corona virus in the world, with 864 cases per million population and deaths of less than 21 patients. ' Apart from this, he said that the recovery rate of people infected with Corona virus in the country is 63.45 percent, while the death rate is 2.3 percent. With this, Harsh Vardhan said in a digital meeting of health ministers of the countries involved in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), "The recovery rate of people infected with coronavirus in the country is 63.45 percent, while the death rate is 2.3 percent."
