Chennai: our students have ended their lives by suicide within a week in Tamil Nadu. These four students were to participate in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Entrance exam for medical courses is being conducted from today across the country amidst increasing cases of corona.
Three students named Aditya, Jyotishree and Vignesh were found dead yesterday. At the same time, Motilal, the 20-year-old son of a businessman from Tiruchengode town in Tamil Nadu, could not take the entrance exam last year, he had to take the exam again today. Aditya, the son of a junk businessman in Dharmapuri, was also scheduled to appear in this year's examination. He had failed to clear the NEET examination held last year. Aditya was found dead at his home yesterday.
Giving information, the police have told that Jyotishree, a 19-year-old student from Madurai, was waiting for his number to appear in the college after the NEET exam last year, but he committed suicide yesterday. Vignesh, the son of a farmer in Ariyalur, also committed suicide. Vignesh was unable to get admission in private college last year, so he embraced death.
