Chennai: The number of corona patients in the country is increasing rapidly. Meanwhile, the scope of the exemption in lockdown has increased. Orders have been given to open salons and beauty parlours in Tamil Nadu from June 1, but Aadhaar card will be mandatory for haircuts. Tamil Nadu government has issued SOP for the salon.

According to the SOP issued by the Tamil Nadu government, if you want to get a haircut, then the Aadhaar card has to be shown. The saloon owner will enter the name, address, phone number and Aadhaar card number of each customer. If he does not do so, action will be taken against him. According to the Tamil Nadu government SOP, any saloon will open with 50 percent staff (not more than 8 staff). AC will not run in the salon. Masks will be necessary for people coming to the salon and they will have to sanitize their hands. After this, he will show the details of the Arogya Setu App.

Tamil Nadu government had earlier allowed opening salons in rural areas, but now salons and beauty parlours are being opened in the entire state. Salon owners have been asked to follow social distancing. Also, the barber has been ordered to maintain masks and cleanliness at all times.
