The Ministry of Health and family welfare has informed that 1,714 new COVID19 cases were recorded in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. The total tally of Coronavirus cases have reached 7,63,282. The number of recoveries in TN on Wednesday were 2,311, which takes the total number of recovered cases to be 7,37,281.
The number of fatalities due to COVID19 were 18 and the total number was 11,531. In state capital Chennai, 479 new cases were recorded taking the total to be 2,10,135. For 32 straight days,chennai records below 1000 cases per day.
Apart from this, department said 67,014 COVID19 tests were conducted and the total number of test conduted so far were 1,12,66,091.
