Veteran actress Tanuja discussed the well-known song "Raat Akeli Hain" from the 1967 movie "Jewel Thief," which featured her and late superstar Dev Anand and was sung by Asha Bhosle.

She described how she created the dance moves for the song and said: "Dev Anand Sahab was unable to pick up the dance moves despite the dance master's best efforts. I also enquired as to how the choreography would appear on screen if Dev Anand sahab weren't the one performing it and I was the sole dancer."

Tanuja is renowned for her outstanding performances in films like "Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi," in which she played the role of famous actress Mala Sinha's younger sister, "Haathi Mere Saathi," in which she played the female lead opposite superstar Rajesh Khanna, and "Anubhav," a film about marital problems and complications, in which she co-starred with the late Sanjeev Kumar.

She was talking about her time spent filming with Dev Anand on the "Jewel Thief" set while participating in the singing reality show.

"We all sat there talking about how we were going to approach this as a result. Later, everyone involved in choreographing the dance agreed that since I was familiar with the step, I could make it a little simpler for Dev Sahab. Because of this, they asked me to choreograph the song however I pleased. To have fun while filming was my primary motivation for choreographing this song, and I must admit that I succeeded "She continued.
