After this, a series of successful films started. The journey started with Aarti (1962) Dosti, Jeevan-Mrityu, Uphaar, Piya Ka Ghar, Saudaagar, Geet Gaata Chal, Tapasya, Chitchor, Dulhan Jo Piya Man Bhaye. He died in 1992.
