By the end of this year, Tata Motors' new 7 seater SUV Buzzard will be launched in India. This is the 7 seater version of the Harrier SUV. It was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show held earlier this year. Let me tell you, it will be launched by another name in the market, because the name Tata Buzzard was given only for the motor show. Recently, this SUV has been seen during testing. Many details of this have been revealed by leaked photos.
According to the recently received leaked picture, this SUV is seen in 18-inch alloy wheels, which means that it will get bigger wheels from the top variant of the Harrier. The top variant of the Harrier features 17-inch alloy wheels. The same 7-seat SUV will be significantly different from the Harrier at the rear. Its length has been increased by 62 mm against the Harrier to provide a third-line seat in the Buzzard. The roof is also slightly elevated at the back, so that the passenger sitting in the third line gets enough headspace. The tail lamps are also going to see a slight change in the design.
For your information, let us know that this new SUV of Tata Motors will get a 2.0-liter cryotech diesel engine with Harrier. However, its power output will be higher than the Harrier. Reports have said that this engine will generate 172PS and 350Nm of torque at Bazard. The engine will conform to BS6 emission norms. It will get 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options. The overall look of the new 7-seat SUV will be almost the same as the Harrier. It will also have slim LED daytime running lights, honeycomb grille, flared wheel arches and 3-dimensional taillights. The initial price of the buzzard is being estimated to be around 15 lakh rupees.
