Tata Motors has launched the Curvv, a new SUV that will rival the Citroen C3, which is set to enter the Indian market on August 2. The Curvv is available in both petrol/diesel and electric models, with the electric variant built on the company's new Acti.ev architecture. The SUV boasts a sleek design, with features like LED headlamp clusters, fog lamps on the bumper, a new grille, and a large air intake. The interior is equipped with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital dial, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, heads-up display, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, electric parking brake, dual-zone climate control, and a 360-degree camera.

The top-end variants of the Curvv come with ADAS Level 2 technology and a panoramic sunroof. The electric variant has a range of 450-500 kilometers, although the company has not revealed the battery pack details. The petrol and diesel models are expected to be launched with 1.2-liter and 1.5-liter engines, respectively, with the former generating 125bhp of power. There is also a possibility of a CNG fuel option being introduced later.

In terms of design, the Curvv has a signature LED light, new bumper design, gloss black side cladding, flush-fitting door handles, a coupe-like roofline, split arrow rear spoiler, and connected LED tail lights. The SUV is 313mm longer and 62mm wider than the Tata Nexon, with a longer wheelbase.

The Curvv is expected to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos in the Indian market. With its sleek design, advanced features, and electric variant, the Curvv is poised to make a significant impact in the SUV segment.
