According to media reports, Tata Sky has reduced the price of its SD setup box by Rs 300, after which users can buy it for Rs 1,099 instead of Rs 1,399. In this set-up box you will get the facility of DVD quality picture and CD-quality audio.
For your information, let us tell you that the price of Tata Sky HD set-up box was earlier Rs 1,499 and now after the reduction of Rs 200, you can buy it for Rs 1,299. Features like 1080i video quality, 16: 9 aspect ratio and Dolby Digital surround sound have been given in this set-up box. According to the report, this new one is valid only till Diwali season. However, there are set-up boxes with new prices on the company's official website. Apart from Tata Sky, the popular channels Zee, Sony and Star India have also reduced the price of their channels by 7 rupees. Let us tell you that this new price is not applicable on all channels, but its benefits can be availed only on select channels.
