Mumbai: The headless body of a girl was found stuffed in a travel bag on the seashore in Uttan area west of Bhayander in Maharashtra, police said on Sunday. The body of the girl has been cut into two parts. The police recovered the body at around 8:00 am on Friday (June 2). According to the police, the girl's head has not only been chopped off, but her entire body has also been divided into two parts. The girl's legs were tied. The bag had a make-up kit and a damru trident and rakshasutra tied on the hand.

According to the police, the girl, who appeared to be 20 to 25 years old, had her head chopped off, her body was  also divided into two parts and the body was stuffed in a bag and thrown away. The woman's leg is tied with a rope. Om is written on the right hand of the young woman. Along with this, there is also a tattoo of Trishul and Damru on her hand. A red colored Rakshasutra is also tied in the right hand. There is a white colored bracelet in the left hand, from which it is being speculated that the deceased is a Hindu.

Police said the girl was wearing a chocolate-coloured half-t-shirt with 'BE YOURSELF' written on it. Also, the girl is wearing half pants. According to the police, the girl's body was recovered around 8 am. The Uttan police have registered a case of murder. The girl could not be identified till the filing of this report.
