Good news for youth preparing to recruit assistant teachers in government schools. Applications have been sought for the recruitment of a total of 485 assistant teachers at primary and upper-primary levels. Dadra and Nagar Haveli and the Directorate of Education of Daman and Diu Central Administration have issued an advertisement for the recruitment of assistant teachers under the central government-sponsored scheme Holistic Education. According to the advertisement, the directorate will recruit 485 assistant teachers in government schools of the jurisdiction on a short-term contract basis. Candidates wishing to apply for these posts can apply through the application form provided with the notification provided on the official portal of the directorate.

Starting date for application: 12 October 2020
Last date for application: 2 November 2020
Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Teacher - For Primary School: Passed 12th with at least 50% marks and two-year diploma in Elementary Education or two-year Diploma in Elementary Education with Bachelor's or B.Ed Degree with Graduation. Should also pass CTET or TET exam of a state. Age limit 30 years.
Assistant Teacher - For Upper Primary School: Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education with a Bachelor or B.Ed Degree with Bachelor. Simultaneously pass CTET or TET examination of a state. Age limit is 30 years.
Pay scale:
A monthly salary of Rs 22 thousand per month will be given for Assistant Teacher Primary School and Rs 23 thousand per month for Assistant Teacher Upper Primary School.
