The wedding ceremony of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tej Pratap Yadav is in full swing. Soon on May 12, the Yadav mansion will hear the wedding bells of Lalu Prasad Yadav's son with former Bihar chief minister Daroga Prasad Rai’s granddaughter Aishwarya Rai. On Wednesday night, in Patna a grand Mehandi ceremony was organised by the bride's family. In the event, Aishwarya was decked up in a beautiful green lehenga with golden embroidery patchwork, while Tej Pratap looked dashing in a yellow bandhi and white kurta.

The groom Tejpratap Yadav with his family reached Patna for his Mehandi ceremony hosted by Aishwarya Rai family. Daroga Prasad Rai family had made special arrangements for evening sangeet mehfil. According to Zee News, the couple sat on different elevated platforms as ceremonial rituals were being performed.

Former CM and Lalu Prasad Yadav's wife Rabri Devi was seen enjoying the event with younger son and former Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav.

Lalu's eldest daughter Misa Bharati was also present in the ceremony with her family. Tej Pratap's other sisters were also seen participating in the grand function.

Tej Pratap and Aishwarya got engaged in a ceremony at Hotel Maurya in Patna on April 18.
