Patna: BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has fiercely attacked CM Nitish Kumar. Sushil has also raised questions about whether the CM of Bihar is Nitish or Tejashwi. The matter is related to the withdrawal of consent (permission) of the CBI. On this, Sushil Modi has taken a dig at the Grand Alliance government.
In a press conference in Gaya, Sushil Kumar Modi said that it has come to the media that the grand alliance government in Bihar is withdrawing the consent of the CBI. Meaning if a case has to be investigated afresh in Bihar, then the CBI will not be able to investigate without the permission of the state government. Modi said that there is a general consent in which there is no need to ask CBI. Any matter can be investigated. At the same time, now selective consent means that the state government has withdrawn the consent. Now the state government withdrew the approval. In such a situation, the government will have to come for every matter. If we give permission, there will be a CBI inquiry in the same case. He said that the Bihar government is under pressure of Lalu-Tejashwi. This is the reason why there was general consent given to CBI, withdrawing that approval.
He said that now no new case can be investigated without permission. He said that if you want to suppress corruption, only then CBI cannot investigate without the permission of the government. Sushil Modi said that CM Nitish Kumar is under pressure and cannot take a decision. Sushil Modi said that anyway, he considers Tejashwi-Lalu as CM. When the Grand Alliance government is withdrawing the consent of the CBI, then the Bihar government should also petition in the High Court-Supreme Court that whatever cases are against Lalu Tejashwi are fake, People are innocent and there is no need for investigation. All cases should be withdrawn. Now, this is the condition that the consent of CBI is being withdrawn. Sushil further said that it is not clear who is the real CM. Lalu feels that 118 MLAs are with him, whereas Nitish feels that he is the CM.
