Patna: Two phases of voting have been done for Bihar assembly elections. Veteran leaders of all parties are busy campaigning for a maximum number of seats in their favour in the third phase. On Tuesday, when Bihar CM Nitish Kumar reached Harlakhi Assembly constituency of Madhubani, he faced stiff opposition. When CM was addressing the rally, onions and stones were thrown at him.
His main rival RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has also expressed his displeasure over this incident. Tejashwi has reacted on Twitter in this regard. He wrote in his tweet made on Tuesday night, "Today in the election meeting someone threw onion to the venerable Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar Ji. It is completely condemnable, undemocratic and undesirable behaviour. The expression of resistance in a democracy is only in voting. There should be and other than this no method can be acceptable. "
When Nitish Kumar was addressing the public from the stage, a person threw onions and stones from the bottom towards the stage. During this, the stone-throwing person shouted slogans and said that liquor is being sold openly, smuggled, but you are not able to do anything.
