Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expanded his cabinet yesterday i.e. on Sunday. In detail, there was a deep impression of nepotism. The CM added six new ministers to his cabinet. These include his son KT Rama Rao and nephew T. Harish Rao and two women MLAs. The most interesting is that the new governor of Telangana, Tamilasai Sundararajan himself administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers at the Raj Bhavan at 4:14 pm, just hours after taking the oath.
Other ministers include P. Sabita Indra Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar, P. Ajay and Satyavati Rathore. KCR's son Rama Rao and nephew Harish Rao have also been ministers in the first government of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). The first government of TRS had no women minister. Sabita is among the 12 Congress MLAs who joined the TRS after returning to power again.
She has been the Home Minister during the Congress Government in United Andhra Pradesh. For your information, KCR returned to power with a landslide victory in December last year. This was done before the election time. The total number of ministers in the state has increased to 18. Which is also the maximum number of ministerial posts in the state. In the past Lok Sabha elections, KCR did not get success like assembly elections. His own daughter lost her seat. BJP had performed well in the state.
