Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar tested positive for covid-1, night curfew imposed in state

Hyderabad: Nightcurfew has been imposed in Te Langana from tonight to April 30. The curfew will be in force from 9 pm to 5 am. CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has been hit by corona. CM Chandrashekhar has mild signs of corona due to which doctors have instructed Rao to stay in isolation. The chief secretary of the state said a team of doctors is monitoring the health of the CM.

Earlier CA Chandrashekhar had attended a rally on April 14. A large crowd had gathered at the rally for the by-election to the Nagarjuna assembly seat. 60 others involved in the rally have also been found to be infected with corona, including KCR's Telangana Rashtra Samiti party candidate Nomula Bhagat and his family. At the same time, many other senior leaders have also been infected with corona. Polling was held in Nagarjuna seat on April 17 for which nearly one lakh people attended the rally.

CM K Chandrasekhar Rao had felt minor symptoms of corona-like fever and body pain after which he underwent an RTPCR test and was found positive. Doctors have instructed Rao to stay in home isolation. In addition, their staff has also been advised to get the test done. Meanwhile, CM Chandrashekhar has imposed night curfew in the state till April 30. Night curfew will be in force in the state from 9 pm to 5 am.
