The cases of coronavirus are rising day by day in Telangana. Recently, the state recorded 2,278 new Covid-19 contaminations and 10 deaths on Friday, taking the overall casualties to 950 and the aggregate number of positive cases so far were reported so as to 1,54,880. As of Friday, the total active Covid-19 cases in the state are 32,005. A total of 2,458 persons have regained by Friday, taking the overall Covid-19 improvements in the State to 1,21,925 with a recovery rate of 78.7 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate stands at 77.75 percent.

Between Thursday and Friday, the health officials administered 62,234 COVID tests in the State while reports of another 2,027 samples are anticipated. Overall, so far governments have conducted 20,78,695 Covid-19 tests in the State. As many as 25,050 patients are in-home quarantine across the State while 6,955 positive cases are in institutional care.
