New Delhi: The figure of coronavirus infections in the country is creating a new record every day. The total number of corona infected across the country has also crossed the 46 lakh mark. In the last 24 hours, 97550 new cases have been registered, the largest number of new cases in a day. In 24 hours, 1201 people have lost their lives.

So far, 46,59,984 positive cases of corona have been reported in the country. Of these, 36, 24, 196 patients have been recovered. So far, 77472 people have been in the grip of the corona and have been in the cheek of the period. The recovery rate from corona is 77.77%. It may be noted that the country's first serosurvey data on coronavirus has come to the fore. According to the first National Sero survey of the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), 64 lakh people in the country were infected with the coronavirus in May this year.

The survey was conducted between May 11 and June 4 across the country. The survey was conducted in 70 districts in 21 states, of which 75% were rural areas, while 25% were surveyed in urban areas. Blood samples tests of 28,000 people were carried out to detect the speed of virus infection, after which the report was released.
