The COVID-19 cases are taking a new toll daily in the country. With each passing day, the figures are rising in Telangana too. In the last twenty-four hours, Telangana recorded 2,534 new Corona cases and 11 fatalities, taking the overall figures to 927 and the increasing number of positive cases so far are 1,50,176. On Wednesday, the total active Covid-19 cases in the state are 32,106.

As many as 2,071 persons have recovered from COVID19 by Wednesday, pushing the overall Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,17,143 with a recovery rate of 78 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 77.83 per cent. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, the doctors have conducted 63,017 COVID tests in the State while reports of another 2,447 samples are awaited. Overall, so far authorities have conducted 19,53,571 tests in the State. A number of 25,066 patients are there in the home isolation, while 7,040 positive patients are in institutional care.

The total number of cases observed in the state: 23 from Adilabad, 81 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 65 from Jagtiyal, 327 from areas under the GHMC, 41 from Jangaon, 29 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 123 from Kamareddy,  24 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally,107 from Karimnagar, 109 from Khammam, 30 from Kumaran Bheem Asifabad, 38 from Mahabubnagar, 25 from Nirmal 73 from Mahabubabad, 64 from Mancherial, 42 from Medak, 132 from Medchal Malkajgir,  149 from Nalgonda, 16 from Narayanpet, 90 from Nizamabad, 58 from Peddapally, 47 from Siricilla, 195 from Rangareddy, 62 from Nagarkurnool,96 from Sangareddy, 103 each from Siddipet, 83 from Suryapet, 22 from Vikarabad, 42 from Wanaparthy, 41 from Warangal Rural, 124 from Warangal Urban,16 from Mulugu, and 57 from Yadadri Bhongir.
