HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has said that within a short span of time Telangana state has achieved development to emerge as a role model for the whole country.
KCR delivered a message to the people on the occasion of Dussehra, where he wished that the country would march ahead on the path of prosperityt with the spirit of Telangana.
KCR, as Rao is commonly known, said that the state government prioritised Telangana.
He said, the Dussehra celebration is observed nationwide as a symbol of the founding of Dharma and as Vijayadasami, which ushers in victory. On the day of the Dussehra celebration, it is a very old custom for people to see Palapittas (Indian Roller birds) and to worship the auspicious Jammi trees.
KCR said, the exchange of Jammi leaf, which is similar to gold, asking for the elders' blessings, and taking part in Alai Balay to show love and affection are the specialties of the Dussehra holiday. He prayed that all of the chores he undertook would be successful on Dussehra Day, which is a symbol of success. He said that Vijaya Dashami's spirit would go on. He desired for everyone to live happily and in peace.
On the happy occasion of Vijaya Dasami, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan also sent greetings to the populace.The Navaratri festival revitalises our sense of happiness and celebration. The festival's central theme is the triumph of good over evil, and this message is timeless, Tamilisai Soundararajan said.
Our country's motto is "Truth alone wins," and as we celebrate the festival, we must work together to combat all ills, including environmental risks and build cleaner, greener neighbourhoods.
