A two-judge panel of the Telangana High Court, including Chief Justice Ragvendra Singh Chauhan and Justice Vijaysen Reddy, refused to take suo moto action on the dreaded water flow situation in Telangana, especially in the city.

When Suo-Moto refused to give the writ petition, the Chief Justice said, "Let us leave the government to perform its administrative functions.
