Hyderabad: An 11-year-old boy has been found to have committed suicide after he did not get Rs 300 to watch a film in Telangana. All the friends of the self-sacrificing child were going to go to see the movie. So the child was also insisting on it from his family. After his parents refused to give him the money, he hanged himself. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
According to the police, the case is from Hyderabad in Telangana. Narayan's son Navdeep, a resident here, was studying in class 8. Navdeep was a fan of South actor Pawan Kalyan. Navdeep and his friends had planned to watch Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Bhimla Nayak together. For this, all of Navdeep's friends had booked the tickets for the first day of the film in advance.
Since then, Navdeep has been constantly demanding money from his parents to go to see the film. On Monday night too, he had asked his parents for Rs 300 to book an advance ticket. But his father refused to pay. Angry at not getting the money, Navdeep hanged himself in the balcony of his house. Acting on a tip-off, the police have registered a case and started an investigation.
