Agra: Jail police constable Jitendra Kumar committed suicide by hanging himself in Nagla Arjun (Mauja Samra) village of Khandauli in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday night. He had come to his home. A case of rape was registered against him in Firozabad. Because of this he was under stress. Before dying, the soldier made a video in his mobile. In this, the girl and her family were held responsible for the suicide move.

Jitendra Kumar, originally a resident of Rasagama Sahpau village of Hathras, had been recruited as a constable in the jail police five months ago. His posting was in Baghpat Jail. For the past few days, he was staying at his maternal uncle's house at Atar Singh's house. After locking himself in the room, Jitendra committed suicide by making a noose of a cot rope. His body was found hanging on the fan. Before committing suicide, the soldier made a video of himself and went viral.

In this video, the constable held a girl from village Nagla Nathe, Khairgarh (Firozabad) and her family members responsible for the suicide. The girl is his distant relative. In the video, he said that the girl was pressurizing him to get married. A rape case was filed against him for refusing to marry. The police, who reached the information, took Jitendra Kumar's body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. Along with this, his mobile has also been seized by the police. He will be examined.
