Meanwhile, Telangana Urban Administration and Urban Development Minister K Taraka Rama Rao will donate 100 custom vehicles to the handicapped under the 'Gift a Smile' initiative on his birthday. The Gift a Smile initiative is a unique initiative launched by KTR on his birthday on July 24 last year.

In a tweet, the same Minister KTR said that on the eve of my birthday last year, I had personally donated 6 ambulances and our TRS MLAs and MPs joined in taking the total number to 90. It has also been decided this year that the best way to celebrate 'Gift a Smile' should be given to 100 handicapped with custom-made vehicles in a personal capacity.
KTR appealed to TRS party leaders and other well-wishers who want to wish them on their birthday sapping a tree or help someone in need as part of 'Gift a Smile' as part of Mukkoti tree formation. Please don't waste money on bouquets, cakes, and hoardings. Several public representatives and prominent personalities have welcomed Minister KTR's gesture and come forward to contribute some custom-made vehicles under the Gift a Smile initiative. While Naveen Rao came forward to donate 100 carts MLC, MLC Shambipur Raju and Pochampally Srinivasreddy promised to donate 60 vehicles each.
